How Does It Work?

  1. We install a virtual care device that processes audio data and sends it via Wi-Fi to a secure cloud.  
  2. The AI system analyzes data and establishes baseline trends, like when mom gets up for the day.  
  3. The system sends notifications when it detects anomalies, like dad using the bathroom more frequently.  
  4. We respond to high-level alerts immediately and adjust care plans for better care for your loved one.  

With our virtual care system, we can detect falls or other physical distress, calls for help, cognitive decline, early signs of infection (like UTIs), and more. Ultimately, this technology can help reduce rehospitalization risks, identify health complications early on, and empower our clients to remain healthy, happy, and at home. 

Is It Secure?

Our virtual care technology is completely secure, and families can turn off or mute the devices. It is audio-based technology, and no cameras are involved. The system is only triggered to send alerts upon detecting risk or distress. So, it doesn’t pick up other interactions at home. We also employ the highest level of security and data privacy practices that are HIPAA and ISO 27001 compliant.

In addition to our virtual care management, we place a tablet that’s programmed with the Tendio Family Portal in every home. These tablets empower seniors, improve patient-provider communication, enhance family support, and, most importantly, improve the quality of life for our seniors.  


What Is the Tendio Family Portal?

The Tendio Family Portal is our proprietary software that is designed to help seniors remain engaged and connected as they age at home. This portal provides a secure, cloud-based platform that is accessible 24/7. 

Our care team helps clients set up their Tendio Family Portal account with a secure username and password. With this login information, seniors and their family members can access personal health information, such as: 

  • Client service plans
  • Caregiver visit notes
  • Medication lists
  • Caregiver schedules
  • Doctor’s appointments
  • Required paperwork

The Tendio Family Portal also allows seniors and their family members to enhance communication with their care team. It allows direct messages, text message alerts, and video communication with our team.
