Bob Ross's paint night is open to both adults and children. Your supplies are included in your fee as well as one-on-one time with the instructor due to small class sizes, which allows for personalized attention. Moreover, you can bring your own beverages and food to enjoy throughout the class!
Classes are available Tuesdays through Sundays from either 4 pm to 6 pm or 7 pm and 9 pm. Book your seat early to avoid the event being full! Seats sell fast!
Try Reiki Alternative Medicine Classes
Seniors of all ages can enjoy Reiki classes that are offered by a certified Reiki Practitioner Training. Classes run every Thursday evening from 7 pm to 9 pm and include lectures, classes, group activities, and individual sessions. Sessions are run by certified Reiki instructors. All classes are free to attend and occur at the Mastic Recreation Center!
Get Fit with the Rockville Centre of New York
The Rockville Centre of New York offers Long Island residents a whole host of fitness options directly aimed at seniors. The Sandel Center provides seniors with a wide variety of different fitness options including options from aerobics to yoga, as well as options for dancing or strength training classes. The exercise is good for the mind, body, soul, and spirit, and keeps seniors healthier well into their golden years.
