CEO Bikes through New Braunfels for Fundraiser

By Caring Senior Service

On July 30th, CEO and founder of Caring Senior Service, Jeff Salter, biked through New Braunfels on his 9,000-mile journey to raise awareness of needs in senior care. Jeff left on the ride on April 1st, 2021, and stopped in New Braunfels — the second to last stop on his journey. The goal of the ride is to spark national conversations about senior care and what we can all do to ensure a better future for today's seniors. It kicks off the Close the Gap in Senior Care movement.

The New Braunfels team welcomed Jeff with a celebration and silent auction to raise money for grab bars, a simple safety device that can help reduce fall risks. While at the event, Jeff was also presented with an $18,000 donation to the grab bars initiative. A reporter from The Herald-Zeitung interviewed Jeff, Cathy Trlica (the owner of Caring Senior Service of New Braunfels), and other members of the Caring team that were present at the event.
