The Senior Activity Center at Burleson offers a variety of activities that are open to all seniors ages 50+. Activities include fitness classes, music sessions, dance lessons/classes, game time, movie knights, knitting/sewing activities, and luncheons out just to name a few. No matter what types of activities you enjoy, you will find something that appeals to you!
Game Day at the Alvarado Senior Center
Every Monday is a game day at the Alvarado Senior Center. The main games of choice are bridge and dominoes. Come to join for some fun games, friendly competition, and an opportunity to meet some new friends!
Moorland Family YMCA
All seniors ages 55+ are welcome to go to the Moorland Family YMCA to participate in a program that is sponsored by the YMCA itself and the local communities. There is no cost to seniors for many of these programs, and many insurance programs will provide seniors with a free gym membership to help them stay ahead on their health goals.
