Jeff Salter Arrives in Amarillo on 9,000-Mile Bike Tour

Today, July 21st, 2021, Jeff Salter, the CEO and founder of Caring Senior Service, arrives in Amarillo as part of his 9,000-mile bike ride across the country. His goal is to raise awareness of needs that seniors face today and to kick of the Close the Gap in Senior Care movement in each Caring Senior Service service area. The movement is intended to spark conversations about how we can all come together to address the struggles seniors still face. 

The team in Amarillo has arranged an event for this morning and will also be raising funds for Grab the Bars, a fundraiser initiative as part of the movement. Every $250 will go toward 2 grab bars in a senior's home to help address safety concerns and reduce fall risk.
