The CEO of Caring Senior Service, Jeff Salter, is raising awareness for the unmet needs in senior care in an unusual way. He is riding over 9,000 miles on a SONDORS ebike to visit every Caring location and kicking off the Close the Gap in Senior Care movement at each stop. The movement is designed to spark the conversation about needs of local seniors and how businesses, entrepreneurs, communities, and individuals can come together to address them.
Jeff arrived in Amarillo, TX, on July 19th, 2021, after 3.5 months on the road. Along the journey, Jeff has also helped Caring locations raise money for grab bars, which are a great safety device to help keep seniors from falling. Every $250 we raise will go toward 2 grab bars in a senior's home.
