How much does the service cost?

We charge an hourly, flat rate no matter what services are required. We work with you and your loved one to conduct a full assessment to determine the hours required in properly assisting your loved one.

Does insurance cover the cost of your services?

If you’re looking for home care assistance, you have a few options. Long-term care insurance or the VA’s Aid and Attendance program can cover our services. Medicaid may cover some services, but currently only some of our offices accept it. Major medical insurance providers do not cover in-home care assistance. For those eligible for the VA benefit, we’re here to help with the prequalification process. Medicare’s GUIDE Model may offer resources for individuals with dementia and their family caregivers. Ask us for details.

  Ivan and his team have been so good to our aging clients. They treat them with kindness and dignity. We communicate with them on every shift and each caregiver gives us unique and insightful updates. Ivan and the other managers always visit our client in person to make sure they feel good about the care they are getting. They have been willing to show up even for an emergency room supervision with only hours heads up. They’re always willing to go above and beyond. I highly recommend caring Senior Service.

  I highly recommend Caring Senior Services. I hesitated to hire caregivers to assist me with caring for my husband, and he was anxious about having caregivers. Unfortunately, it became a necessity. The owner, Ivan Widen, put us at ease when he met with us. The team worked to find caregivers who were a good match, listening and quickly responding to my input. I cannot say enough about the caregivers. They were wonderful! They were loving and caring, competent, and respectful of our home. They quickly became like family or friends. They not only cared for my husband, but I felt cared for as well. As a health professional, I know how difficult it is to find a caregiving agency whose caregivers are caring in addition to competently doing their job.   Caring Senior Service of Chattanooga provided excellent care for my 101 year old mother during the cold weather beginning New Years day!   I was referred to Caring Senior Service (CSS) through my husband's long term care insurance. The facility's owner, Ivan Widen, kindly met with me in my home to answer all my questions and share with me the many ways CSS could come alongside me in caring for my husband during this season of his life. After meeting and speaking with my husband, and Ivan's attention to details, he was careful to match him with a caregiver that was an excellent fit for him (and me)! This was such a blessing as we didn't have to wade through a series of caregivers which can be very frustrating for someone with dementia. We were also introduced to a couple of other caregivers whom we got to know in the event his primary caregiver needed be out. They were all compassionate, dependable, and responsive to his needs. They treat him as though he were a member of their own family. Needless to say, this gives me so much peace knowing my guy is in good hands in their care!

  My father deteriorated quickly and I needed 24/7 assistance in addition to hospice care. Ivan was quick to answer my call and schedule a subsequent appointment. He and his team immediately won me over, but more importantly,  my dad. The team was respectful, thoughtful and professional. They went above and beyond my expectations and made my dads last few weeks here as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The team essentially became extended family and allowed my dad to stay in his home which was extremely important to him. Thank you Ivan and team for the wonderful care!

  We contacted Caring Senior Service in an emergency situation when our 91-year-old father required round-the-clock care after having multiple falls in a single day.  We spoke to Ivan Saturday evening and he arranged for a nurse to arrive at our dad’s house Sunday morning. From that point, Caring Senior Services coordinated all details related to 24-hour care which was important given that my sister and I live 2 hours away.  Throughout the process, they kept us informed of changes and issues.  Within a month, Ivan worked with us to facilitate our dad’s next transition to an Assisted Living facility.  We would definitely recommend Caring Senior Service for in-home care support.
