Caring of Stroudsburg Holds Fundraiser to Help Area Seniors

In May, Caring Senior Service of Stroudsburg hosted a clothing and rummage sale to raise money for grab bars. The team raised over $1,200 to help local seniors in need. Every $250 raised will go toward installing 2 grab bars in a senior's home. 

Falls are the leading cause of injury-related deaths in seniors, but many of them could be prevented with simple safety devices, like grab bars, or with other precautions.
