What do your services include?

Our caregivers assist clients with a range of tasks, promoting their independence.

PERSONAL CARE: Our trustworthy caregivers assist seniors with personal care tasks including grooming, dressing, bathing, exercising, and more.
TRANSPORTATION: When our senior clients need to attend an event or appointment, our caregivers provide safe and reliable transportation.
MEAL PREPARATION: Cooking can become troublesome for seniors. Our caregivers prepare meals and create something delicious our clients can enjoy.
MEDICATION REMINDERS: It’s easy for seniors to forget to take their medication. Our clients receive medication reminders from caregivers to make sure they never miss a dose.
COMPANIONSHIP: Living alone can get lonely for seniors. Our caregivers enjoy playing games, going for walks, sharing stories, and spending quality time together.
RESPITE CARE: When family caregivers need a break, they can use our respite care service which provides temporary care and peace of mind.
ERRAND SERVICE: If clients need help crossing off their to-do list, our caregivers are there. We handle mailing packages, picking up prescriptions, and more.
LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING: Keeping homes clean and safe is a bit easier with the help of our caregivers, who assist with dishes, dusting, laundry, and more.
FAMILY PORTAL: We provide each client with a tablet with access to our Family Portal. This improves communication and support.
HOME SAFETY ASSESSMENT: Are you concerned about the safety of your loved one’s home? We offer our 43-point safety assessment to create a safer environment.

How much does the service cost?

We charge an hourly, flat rate no matter what services are required. We work with you and your loved one to conduct a full assessment to determine the hours required in properly assisting your loved one.

Does insurance cover the cost of your services?

Most medical insurances do not cover our services. Medicaid may cover some of our Raleigh senior caregiver agency services, but most of our offices do not currently accept Medicaid. The good news is that long-term care insurance does cover our services. You can also apply to receive VA Aid and Attendance program benefits if you qualify. There are restrictions with the VA program, but our office staff will gladly assist with the prequalification process. Medicare’s GUIDE Model may offer resources for individuals with dementia and their family caregivers. Ask us for details.

  This business is well named - they truly care! They provided non-medical care services for our dad while he was in independent living and were always so helpful and professional. It became especially apparent during the time that we began needing to transition to a nursing home that this is a company that goes way above and beyond. They helped our dad in so many ways and gave us the additional information, support and context we needed to get our dad to the next phase of his life.   I have been using Caring Senior Service for my dad's medication reminders for quite some time. They have been awesome in ensuring he takes his medication consistently and making sure he is OK. It has been so comforting over the more than 3 years we've used CSS to know he's always in good hands.   Caring Senior Services of Raleigh has provided in home care for my parents for the past several years, starting in the pandemic. In spite of difficulty to adequately staff his organization, which was an issue in every area of healthcare during that difficult time, Colin Searcy, the owner, found excellent caregivers for us. He stayed involved with the caregivers and my parents over these many years. He is accessible whenever we had a question or concern. Linda and Ernique both cared for my parents, and to say they are angels is an understatement. We are forever appreciative to them all.

  My elderly aunt had been a resident of Independence Village at Olde Raleigh and had been using the services of Caring Senior Services.  They have been a top agency who demonstrated compassion along with professionalism throughout her process of care. We highly recommend Caring Senior Services to anyone whose loved one requires the care and professional attention this agency had provided for her.   My wife and I were looking for help with my Mother when she became ill and could no longer do day to day activities for herself without help.  Caring Senior Service helped my family by making sure someone was there with her when we had to go to work and attend our children's activities.   The folks of Caring Senior Service were caretakers for my mother from about December 2015 until she passed away in October 2016.  We are incredibly grateful for the  compassionate and responsible care that they provided.  They were very flexible when the schedule had to suddenly change when my mother, who was a dialysis patient, needed to cancel or have an alternative schedule due to her doctor's appointments. Thank you to Danny, the owner, who takes personal interest in each patient and each of the staff members who worked to provide my mother's care.

  I cannot say enough good things about Danny, Leslie and all the caregivers at Caring Senior Service.  Our brother recently passed after struggling with brain cancer.  As his needs changed, Danny and company changed with him.  They had a challenging situation with our family being spread across the country and different folks coming in and out.  They handled it with patience and compassion.  The caregivers as well as Danny and Leslie themselves have been like family themselves for these past 6 months.
