Frequently Asked Questions
What do your services include?
Plenty of agencies hand families a cookie-cutter plan and call it done. We work differently. Our team builds every plan around real life, matching help to daily patterns, comfort levels, and household routines. Families across Anson rely on our in-home care assistance to keep their loved ones safe, supported, and self-reliant. Here is what we provide.
• COMPANIONSHIP: Time spent alone wears on mental and emotional health more than most families recognize. Our caregivers show up reliably with conversation, card games, reading, and shared hobbies that build genuine trust and ease isolation over time.
• RESPITE CARE: Caregiver burnout is a real risk, and pushing through without rest usually makes things harder for everyone. Our respite care gives family caregivers time away, confident their loved one is in capable hands at home while they recover.
• PERSONAL CARE: Everyday routines get stressful when balance is unsteady or joints ache, and worry about falling makes the day harder still. Our senior help team in Anson assists with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility to protect dignity and improve safety.
• MEAL PREPARATION: Skipped meals and poor nutrition turn up among seniors more often than families suspect, especially when cooking starts to feel unsafe. Our caregivers prepare meals at home around dietary needs and personal tastes so seniors keep their strength.
• MEDICATION REMINDERS: Missed doses and doubled doses can lead to serious setbacks. A prompt at the right moment prevents most of them. Our caregivers provide consistent medication reminders that help clients stay on schedule day after day.
• TRANSPORTATION: Giving up the keys should not mean giving up appointments, church, or time with friends. Our senior transportation services get older adults safely to medical visits and community activities without leaning on family for every trip.
• ERRAND SERVICE: Small errands turn into exhausting projects when mobility is limited, and running short on groceries or prescriptions adds stress nobody needs. Our caregivers handle grocery runs, pharmacy pickups, and mailing so clients save their energy.
• LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING: Clutter and mess create hazards that families tend to overlook until someone gets hurt. Our caregivers manage light housekeeping like laundry, dishes, dusting, and vacuuming, keeping the home orderly and lowering everyday risk.
• HOME SAFETY ASSESSMENT: Most hazards in a home stay hidden until an accident brings them to light. Our 43-point home safety assessment pinpoints potential dangers throughout the house and offers clear, actionable recommendations to help your loved one stay safe where they live.
• FAMILY PORTAL: Keeping up with a loved one's care should not depend on a daily phone call. Every client receives a tablet connected to our Family Portal, where families can view schedules, share documents, and communicate directly with our senior care team.

Does insurance cover the cost of your services?
Long-term care insurance covers our service. Most medical insurances do not provide coverage for our service. The VA offers an Aide & Attendant program, but certain restrictions apply. Our office staff can assist with pre-qualification for this VA benefit. Medicaid may cover some services, but most of our offices do not currently accept Medicaid. Medicare’s GUIDE Model may offer resources for individuals with dementia and their family caregivers. Ask us for details.
