Caring Senior Service To Open 11th Franchise Location

SAN ANTONIO – Caring Senior Service, a national in-home care provider for seniors, announced today that it will convert its Athens, Alabama corporate location to a franchise office. The conversion will bring the current number of Caring Senior Service franchise locations to 11.

The franchise will be owned by Irene Russell, who currently serves as the Administrator for the Athens office. She takes over operation of the business as owner immediately with the full transfer set for January 1, 2010.

“We are excited that Irene will become a franchise owner,” said CEO and Founder, Jeff Salter. “The area in that part of Alabama is great for senior care. Using our proven model and systems, we look forward to Irene expanding the reach of care to more seniors in the region.”

Caring Senior Service purchased Christian Care Placement Center in Athens and converted it to a Caring location in January 2008. The office has operated as a corporate location during that time. Caring opened an additional corporate office in Huntsville, Alabama in 2008, using Athens as a jumping off point. The Huntsville office remains corporate owned. The company also operates a corporate location in Decatur, Alabama.

Caring Senior Service operates 27 offices in nine states. Athens will join Phoenix and Scottsdale in Arizona; El Paso, Victoria, New Braunfels and Kerrville in Texas; Dayton in Ohio; Raleigh in North Carolina; Bergen County in New Jersey; and Middleboro in Massachusetts as franchise offices.
