Caring Senior Service of San Antonio Acquires A Serving Heart Senior Care
Caring Senior Service announced that its San Antonio office has purchased A Serving Heart Senior Care, a provider of non-medical home care services throughout the San Antonio area.
Caring Senior Service is a national provider of home care services including personal care, meal preparation, companionship, transportation, errand service, medication reminders and light housekeeping.

The acquisition agreement was signed in October and Caring Senior Service of San Antonio has taken over day to day operations as of November 8, 2011. With the completion of the acquisition, office staff and caregivers of A Serving Heart will remain in place, while A Serving Heart founder Rachel Saravia will join the Caring Senior Service San Antonio office as Agency Director.
“Rachel has more than 10 years experience in home care and has been operating A Serving Heart for over 2 years. We are thrilled that she has agreed to stay to lead the expansion of in-home care services in the San Antonio Office.” said Lisa Klaes, Director of Company Offices.
Caring Senior Service currently operates 39 offices in 14 states – Arizona, Alabama, California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.
