CARING SENIOR SERVICE NAMES ROBERT HAYS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER 

            San Antonio-based Caring Senior Service is pleased to announce the hiring of Robert “Bob” Hays to the position of Chief Financial Officer.

            Hays brings experience and leadership to the position, having served as CFO for Goodwill Industries for six years. Hays most recently served as Chief Information, Risk and Compliance Officer for Goodwill. He is a CPA, and holds an MBA from Indiana University.

            “We are very excited to have Bob join our team,” said Jeff Salter, CEO and founder of Caring Senior Service. “We have grown as a company from 18 offices to 32, and we need a CFO who can help us maintain our growth and position the company for bigger and better things.”

            During his time as CFO for Goodwill Industries, Hays managed a near doubling of revenue growth for the company. As CFO of Caring Senior Service, he will oversee revenue that has nearly doubled in the last 18 months from $8 million to $15 million.

            “Having an experienced CFO is essential for a company of our size,” Salter said. “Bob is a leader and a meticulous accountant, which are two very good traits for a dynamic company like ours.”

            During 2007, Caring Senior Service added 10 offices. Three new offices opened in Alabama in 2008, bringing the company total to 32 nationwide.

Services include help with bathing, dressing, transfers, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errand running and medication reminders.
